About Oreo
In the photo, Oreo is sitting up beside the cage, showing his cream coat and darker tail. He is cream-white all over except for a brown tail.
A dark-eyed white (DEW) ferret has a white to cream coat like an albino, but dark burgundy or near-black eyes. Some DEW ferrets have reduced hearing or are deaf (a trait linked to the white-marking gene), so they often rely more on sight, smell and vibration.
