About Loki & Cookie
In the photo, Loki & Cookie are curled up asleep together on a navy towel. One has a dark, masked face and the other a light, sandy coat, and they are curled nose to nose.
Adopting an already-bonded pair means no introductions and no squabbles over territory, just two ferrets who keep each other busy while you're at work.
Parents
- Loki: sire Clyde (sable) × dam Mocha (chocolate)
- Cookie: sire Oreo (dark-eyed white) × dam Willow (sable)
Before you adopt Loki & Cookie
This is a male and female pair, and neither is spayed or neutered. Ferrets mature at around 6 to 9 months old. To prevent unplanned litters, and to protect the female from the health risks of a long heat, plan with an exotic-animal vet to have them spayed and neutered, or house them separately when she comes into season.
Not available in California, Hawaii, New York City or Washington, DC, where ferrets are illegal. A pair also needs a larger cage; see our cost guide.
