About Adopt a Ferret
We've been raising ferrets since 2019, and every one of them is treated the way we treat our own kids.
Our story
For 7 years, our ferrets have gone home with families in our local area. This website exists because one of our adopters suggested it, so that more people could find healthy, well-raised ferrets the way they did.
We're small and very hands-on. We know every ferret here by name and personality, and we only place them with homes we believe in.
How we raise our ferrets
Every ferret we place was born and raised with us, from our own sires, Clyde and Oreo, and our dams, Willow, Mocha and Freckles. Our parents are chosen for friendly, good-natured temperaments, and our kits grow up around people and everyday household life.
All of our ferrets are up to date on shots before they go home, and each one's page shows its age, color and both parents, so you know exactly where your ferret comes from.
What we believe
- Raised like family. Our ferrets are handled, played with and cared for every day, just as we care for our own kids.
- Honesty first. We tell you what you need to know, including that our ferrets aren't spayed or neutered and what that means for care.
- The right match. We read every application and talk with adopters, because a ferret is a 6-to-10-year commitment.
- Fair, simple pricing. $200 for any ferret, $350 for a bonded pair.
- Following the law. Ferrets are illegal in California, Hawaii, New York City, Washington, DC, and we don't place ferrets there.
