About Ruby
Ruby is from our July 2026 litter, born to our sable sire Clyde and dark-eyed white dam Freckles. Like all of our ferrets, she has a good, friendly temperament and is up to date on shots.
In the photo, Ruby is curled up fast asleep on a soft white blanket, pink paws tucked in. Her coat is soft cream, and her tail carries a few darker, tawny hairs.
At 3 months old, Ruby is still a young kit. Kits this age are curious and busy and bond quickly with a new family. Some gentle nipping while she learns is normal and easy to train out.
Wondering how her coat may change as she grows? Read our guide to dark-eyed white ferrets. Ask us about Ruby's hearing.

Before you adopt Ruby
Ruby is not spayed. Plan her spay, or heat management, with an exotic-animal vet before her first season. Why spaying a female ferret matters.
Not available in California, Hawaii, New York City or Washington, DC, where ferrets are illegal. See our cost guide and FAQ.
