About Max
Max is from our April 2026 litter, born to our sable sire Clyde and chocolate dam Mocha. Like all of our ferrets, he has a good, friendly temperament and is up to date on shots.
In the photo, Max is stretched out on a white pillow, showing his frosted roan coat. His frosted body is darker on the legs and tail, with a pale face and a soft mask.
At 6 months old, Max is past the busiest kit stage and close to adult size, so his personality is already settled: a sociable young ferret ready for a new home.
Wondering how his coat may change as he grows? Read our guide to black roan mitt ferrets.

Before you adopt Max
Max is not neutered. Most owners have pet males neutered once they mature, to reduce musky odor and marking. More about male ferrets.
Not available in California, Hawaii, New York City or Washington, DC, where ferrets are illegal. See our cost guide and FAQ.
