About Hunter
Hunter is from our July 2026 litter, born to our sable sire Clyde and dark-eyed white dam Freckles. Like all of our ferrets, he has a good, friendly temperament and is up to date on shots.
In the photo, Hunter is stretched out flat on the garden patio, taking a break from exploring. He is a fluffy tan kit with a pale face and a pink nose.
At 3 months old, Hunter is still a young kit. Kits this age are curious and busy and bond quickly with a new family. Some gentle nipping while he learns is normal and easy to train out.
Wondering how his coat may change as he grows? Read our guide to cinnamon ferrets.

Before you adopt Hunter
Hunter is not neutered. Most owners have pet males neutered once they mature, to reduce musky odor and marking. More about male ferrets.
Not available in California, Hawaii, New York City or Washington, DC, where ferrets are illegal. See our cost guide and FAQ.
